<p>Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case linked to an alleged liquor scam. Earlier this morning, the ED conducted a raid at the former CM&#8217;s residence in Bhilai, information which Bhupesh Baghel himself shared via a tweet.</p>



<p>According to sources, the ED team has taken Chaitanya Baghel into custody for questioning. The ED&#8217;s action has heated up the state&#8217;s political climate. Congress workers attempted to stop the ED vehicle. However, it is noteworthy that the ED had previously questioned Chaitanya Baghel.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Documents Recovered During the Raid</h2>



<p>On Friday morning, the ED launched an operation against former CM Bhupesh Baghel and his son Chaitanya Baghel in Raipur concerning the liquor scam. Raids were conducted at several locations, including Bhupesh Baghel&#8217;s residence. During the raids, the ED seized crucial documents related to the alleged scam and questioned Chaitanya Baghel. According to ED sources, Chaitanya Baghel&#8217;s arrest was deemed necessary due to a lack of satisfactory responses during questioning.</p>

<p>BJP MLA Rakesh Sen, commenting on Bhupesh Baghel&#8217;s accusations regarding the ED raid, stated that the opposition did not participate in discussions on any issue during the four-day monsoon session, opting for walkouts each day. He highlighted the perceived weakness of the opposition in Chhattisgarh and questioned their avoidance of discussions on issues like the Adani matter, urging cooperation with the ED and discouraging accusations against the government.</p>



<p>He questioned why the ED did not raid the homes of Umesh Patel or Charandas Mahant, suggesting that the ED&#8217;s focus on Bhupesh Baghel&#8217;s residence indicated his alleged involvement in the scam. He further asserted that investigative agencies typically target those implicated in wrongdoing, noting that officials associated with Baghel are currently imprisoned. He concluded that Baghel&#8217;s actions are now resulting in consequences, coinciding with his son&#8217;s birthday.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Morning Raid</h2>



<p>Early Friday morning, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team conducted a raid at Bhupesh Baghel&#8217;s private residence in Bhilai. Bhupesh Baghel himself posted about the raid on the social media platform X, stating, “ED has arrived. Today is the last day of the assembly session. The issue of trees being cut in Tamanar for Adani was to be raised today. &#8216;Saheb&#8217; has sent the ED to my Bhilai residence.” Despite the raid, Bhupesh Baghel proceeded to attend the assembly session.</p>



<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that the Chhattisgarh liquor scam has escalated from ₹2100 crore to ₹3200 crore, with agencies continuing their investigation. On Tuesday, the ED team conducted raids at the Bhilai residence, hotel, and other locations of hotel businessman Vijay Agrawal.</p>

<p><strong>Land for Job Scam:</strong> Lalu Prasad Yadav, the chief of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former Chief Minister of Bihar, has suffered a major setback from the Supreme Court (SC) in the alleged ‘land for job’ scam. On Friday, 18 July 2025, the Supreme Court refused to consider Yadav’s petition seeking a stay on the ongoing proceedings in the lower court and the quashing of the FIR and chargesheet in this case. This case relates to the alleged acquisition of land in exchange for jobs during his tenure as Railway Minister (2004-2009).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Supreme Court&#8217;s Decision</h2>



<p>The bench comprising Justices MM Sundresh and N Kotiswar Singh dismissed Yadav’s petition, stating that the proceedings in the lower court will continue. However, the court exempted him from personally appearing in the lower court. The Supreme Court requested the Delhi High Court to expedite the hearing on Yadav’s petition to quash the FIR in this case. The court stated in its order, “The personal appearance of the petitioner (Lalu Prasad Yadav) is excused. We request the High Court to expedite the hearing.”</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Delhi High Court&#8217;s Stance</h2>



<p>Earlier, on 29 May 2025, the Delhi High Court had dismissed Yadav’s plea to stay the ongoing proceedings in the lower court. However, the High Court had issued a notice for hearing on his petition to quash the FIR and chargesheet, with the next hearing scheduled for 12 August 2025. Yadav approached the Supreme Court to challenge this interim order.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the Case About?</h2>



<p>The ‘land for job’ scam is related to the alleged acquisition of land in exchange for railway jobs during Lalu Prasad Yadav’s tenure as Railway Minister. The CBI launched an investigation against Yadav and his family in this case. This Supreme Court decision is likely to accelerate the legal proceedings against Lalu Prasad Yadav.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Awaiting the Delhi High Court&#8217;s Next Hearing</h2>



<p>The hearing scheduled for 12 August in the Delhi High Court will now be crucial, where Yadav’s plea to quash the FIR and chargesheet will be considered. Until then, the proceedings in the lower court will continue uninterrupted.</p>

<p>Monsoon Havoc in UP: Heavy monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in Uttar Pradesh. Continuous rainfall in the southern parts of the state has completely disrupted life in several districts. </p>



<p>Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning on Wednesday and Thursday inundated rivers, drains, and cities. The situation deteriorated so severely that seven people died in various incidents. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall in Bundelkhand and several districts of southern UP on Friday. </p>



<p>A red alert has been issued for Prayagraj, Banda, Chitrakoot, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and Mahoba. Heavy rainfall warnings have also been issued for other districts such as Kanpur, Agra, and Mathura.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Prayagraj: Four Deaths, Boats Submerged, Strong Currents in Ganga-Yamuna</h2>



<p>Prayagraj recorded 91 mm of rainfall on Thursday. Waterlogging in various parts of the city stranded people for hours. </p>



<p>The water levels in the Ganga and Yamuna rivers continued to fluctuate. Several boats capsized and were swept away by the strong currents of the Ganga, causing significant losses to boatmen. Four people lost their lives in rain-related incidents in the district.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deaths also Reported in Banda and Kanpur</h2>



<p>Two people died in Banda, and one in Kanpur. Most of these deaths were caused by electrocution, collapsing walls, and drowning. Power supply was also affected in these districts, with blackouts in many areas.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mirzapur: Hill Streams Overflow, Villages Cut Off</h2>



<p>Two days of continuous heavy rainfall in Mirzapur has severely affected daily life. 240 mm of rain was recorded in Chunar on Thursday. </p>



<p>The heavy rain caused hill streams and rivers to overflow, necessitating the opening of sluice gates. Waterlogging in underpasses stranded vehicles. Many villages have been cut off from road access.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Saharanpur: Water from Hills, Traffic Halted</h2>



<p>Torrential rain in the Shivalik hills of Saharanpur district caused a sudden surge in several rivers. Crossing the bridges over rivers and streams in Shakambari, Badshahi, Shafipur, Khuwaspur, and Shahpur Gada became difficult. Several routes were temporarily closed as a safety precaution.</p>

<p>Chitrakoot received 105 mm of rainfall on Thursday, leading to flood-like conditions. By 5 pm, the Mandakini river was flowing two metres above the danger mark. The administration has advised people in low-lying areas to remain vigilant and move to safer locations.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Serious Situation in Other Districts</h2>



<p>Prayagraj recorded 209 mm, Jaunpur 142 mm, Sonbhadra 100 mm, and Varanasi 92.2 mm of rainfall. Movement on roads was affected in these districts due to waterlogging. Schools were closed as a precaution, and rescue teams were deployed in some areas.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">AMU to Give Advance Warning of Lightning Strikes</h2>



<p>In some positive news, equipment installed in the Geography Department of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) can now predict lightning strikes six hours in advance. This equipment was installed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It monitors cloud activity via transmitters and sensors and sends data to ISRO. This system is capable of issuing alerts for districts within a 300-kilometre radius.</p>

The Indian agency is currently meticulously investigating all possible aspects of the accident, including technical malfunctions, design flaws, and the pilots&#8217; mental state, and has not yet reached any conclusions. Previously, the US investigating agency had hastily issued a statement denying any malfunction in the Boeing aircraft&#8217;s fuel switch without conducting a proper investigation.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pilots&#8217; Federation Condemns US Media</h2>



<p>While no official statement has yet been released by Boeing, Air India, or India&#8217;s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Captain C.S. Randhawa, President of the Federation of Indian Pilots, has issued a statement strongly condemning the US media report. Randhawa stated that the US media report is entirely inaccurate and that the AAIB report makes no such mention. He accused them of preemptively assigning blame to the pilots without having read the report.</p>



<p>The pilots involved in the accident were Captain Sumit Sabharwal and First Officer Clive Kunder. Captain Sabharwal had 15,638 hours of flight experience, and First Officer Kunder had 3,403 hours. Last week, India&#8217;s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau released a preliminary report indicating a state of confusion in the cockpit immediately before the accident. This report raised further questions about the position of the engine fuel cut-off switch.</p>


<p>The Wall Street Journal, in its latest report, has attempted to characterise the Ahmedabad aircraft accident as a criminal conspiracy. The Indian investigative agency, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau, has termed the American media report irresponsible.</p>

<p>The use of pre-approved loan amounts, or credit lines, within the UPI Wallet will now be restricted solely to the purpose for which the bank approved the loan. This new rule will come into effect from 31 August 2025. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has issued a circular in this regard.</p>



<p>According to the new circular, if a bank has provided a credit line facility on UPI to a user for a specific need, it must only be used to fulfil that need. NPCI has instructed all banks, payment companies, and UPI apps to implement these changes.</p>



<p>The facility to add credit lines on UPI was launched in April 2023, but the control and monitoring mechanisms were weak. It was often observed that customers did not use this loan for the purpose for which it was approved. This was impacting both the banking system and consumer protection. NPCI stated that new rules are being implemented to prevent the misuse of this facility. Many banks are offering credit lines of up to ₹200,000 on UPI.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What are the new rules?</h2>



<ol>
<li><strong>Correct Use of Loan:</strong> The loan must be used only for the purpose for which the bank approved it. For example, if someone has taken a loan for education, they will not be able to spend it elsewhere using UPI.</li>



<li><strong>Crucial Role of Banks:</strong> The bank will decide which transactions are approved and which are not. This decision will be made by the bank keeping in mind its policy and the purpose of the loan.</li>



<li><strong>Monitoring of all Transactions:</strong> If a customer uses the credit line for an incorrect purpose, the bank will be able to block it. This mechanism is considered the biggest advantage of this new system.</li>



<li><strong>Changes in Apps:</strong> All banks, UPI payment service providers, and app companies will have to add new codes to facilitate the use of interest-bearing credit lines.</li>
</ol>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is the Credit Line Facility?</h2>



<p>Previously, only savings accounts, wallets, or RuPay credit cards could be linked via UPI, but later the credit line facility was also added. This is a type of loan that is pre-approved by banks for their customers. Similar to a credit card, a certain amount is set for the customer to spend. However, instead of receiving the entire loan amount, the customer can use the money little by little via UPI as needed. If the user does not have funds in their savings account or UPI wallet, they can use this loan amount for payments as needed. Interest is charged by the bank not on the entire loan amount, but only on the amount spent.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Link a Credit Line Account?</h2>



<ul>
<li>Banks provide the credit line facility only to customers with a good credit score.</li>



<li>First, download the UPI app from the Play Store. Complete the registration process and select the credit line as an option.</li>



<li>Select your issuer bank&#8217;s name from the drop-down menu. Once the mobile number is updated with the issuer bank, the masked (masked: credit line) will appear on the screen.</li>



<li>Select the credit line account you wish to link and confirm. Then generate the UPI PIN.</li>



<li>The loan repayment terms depend on the issuing bank.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Amrit Bharat Trains</strong> Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Motihari on Friday, ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. PM Modi presented the state with projects worth approximately ₹7000 crore. From Motihari, PM Modi also flagged off four Amrit Bharat trains online. These trains will operate on the Patna-New Delhi, Motihari-Anand Vihar, Darbhanga-Gomti Nagar (Lucknow), and Bhagalpur-Gomtinagar (Lucknow) routes. This will benefit ordinary rail passengers in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Patna to New Delhi Train</h2>



<p>According to the railway authorities, the Rajendra Nagar-New Delhi Amrit Bharat Express train will depart from Patna&#8217;s Rajendra Nagar at 11:45 AM and arrive in New Delhi the next morning. This train will stop at Patna Junction, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Subedarganj, Govindpuri, and Ghaziabad stations en route to New Delhi. The train will have a stoppage of 5 to 10 minutes at these railway stations. The train will reach Ara station at 1:15 PM, Buxar at 2:10 PM, DDU at 3:40 PM, Subedarganj at 6:15 PM, Govindpuri railway station at 8:50 PM, and Ghaziabad railway station at 2:40 AM.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bhagalpur to Lucknow Train</h2>



<p>A new Amrit Bharat Express train will run between Bhagalpur in Bihar and Gomtinagar railway station in Lucknow. The Bhagalpur-Gomtinagar 13435/13436 Amrit Bharat Express will be a weekly train. This train will depart from Bhagalpur railway station at 11:45 AM and reach Gomtinagar railway station at 8:30 AM the next day. This train will travel from Bhagalpur via Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Kiul, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Tillaya, Manpur, Gaya, Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ayodhyadham, Ayodhya Cantt, before reaching Gomti Nagar railway station.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Darbhanga to Gomtinagar New Amrit Bharat Express</h2>



<p>A new Amrit Bharat Express train will also run from Darbhanga in Bihar to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. This train will run from Darbhanga to Gomtinagar railway station in Lucknow. This train will depart from Darbhanga at 11:45 AM and reach Gomtinagar station at 4:05 AM the next day. After departing from Darbhanga, this train will travel via Kamtaul, Janakpur, Sitamarhi, Bargania, Ghorasahan, Raxaul, Sikta, Harinagar, Bagaha, Paniyawa, Kaptalganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mankapur, and Ayodhya before reaching Gomtinagar railway station.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Train from Motihari to Anand Vihar</h2>



<p>An Amrit Bharat Express train will also run from Bapudham Motihari to Anand Vihar. This train will depart from Motihari at 11:45 AM. It will then stop at Sagauli, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Harinagar, Bagaha, Siswa Bazar, Kaptaan Ganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mankapur, Gonda, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, and Ghaziabad stations before reaching Anand Vihar at 10 AM the next day.</p>

<p>Many students in India are unable to fulfil their dream of studying at foreign universities due to high costs. Now, they will be able to do so at a lower cost while remaining in the country. This is becoming possible with the new National Education Policy. Southampton University (UK) inaugurated its first such campus in Gurugram on Wednesday. This is being considered a milestone in India&#8217;s higher education landscape.</p>



<p>Southampton University will offer degrees in computing, law, business, etc. It is expected that 5,500 students will enrol annually. According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), campuses of 15 foreign universities may be established in India by 2027. It is estimated that tuition fees here will be 25-40% lower than at their US campuses.</p>



<p>Under the new UGC regulations, the top 500 global institutions will be allowed to establish fully autonomous campuses in India, with their own admission criteria, fee structure, and degree accreditation. This will provide Indians with world-class education at a lower cost. It is estimated that an Indian student going abroad spends an average of $60,000 on education.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Universities Coming to India</h2>



<p>1- Illinois Institute of Technology (USA) will open its campus in Mumbai by 2026, offering STEM and business programs. This will be the first US university to do so.<br>2- Liverpool University, Aberdeen, and York (UK), and the University of Western Australia have received letters of intent to open their campuses by the end of 2026.<br>3- Istituto Europeo di Design (Italy) is opening its campus in Mumbai, offering degrees in fashion, product, and visual design at 25-30% less cost than its European campuses.<br>4- The University of Chicago and the University of Utah (USA) are opening campuses in Bengaluru. The University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University (both USA) will also establish campuses in India.</p>

<p><strong>India Leads Internet Data Usage:</strong> India has jumped 93 places in the global ranking of average internet speed over the past two years, reaching 26th position. </p>



<p>However, when it comes to global data usage, India remains the world&#8217;s number one country. According to the Ericsson Mobility Report, India has a monthly per capita data consumption of 32 GB, the highest globally. </p>



<p>In comparison, this figure stands at 29 GB in China and 22 GB in the USA. According to some other sources, in 2024, the average data consumption in India was 24.6 GB per user, significantly higher than the global average of 19 GB.</p>



<p>Ookla&#8217;s internet speed dataset shows that India&#8217;s median download speed was 136.53 Mbps during April-June 2025. This represents a 93-point improvement in India&#8217;s ranking from 119th position in September 2022, when the average internet speed was 13.87 Mbps. The report states that India is rapidly closing the gap in internet speed with other major global markets. The main reason for this is the rapid expansion of 5G coverage in the country.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">China Ahead of the US in Internet Speed</h2>



<p>Compared to other large countries, the USA holds the 13th global ranking with a speed of 176.75 Mbps, while China ranks 8th with 207.98 Mbps. The report mentions that the expansion of the 5G network in India is one of the fastest internet speed expansions in the world.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">5G Towers Account for 57% in India</h2>



<p>According to media reports, 5G towers now constitute 57% of the total telecommunication towers in India. By March 2025, India&#8217;s 5G subscriber base reached 3.26 million, representing 28% of total wireless connections.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Indians Lead in App Usage</h2>



<p>According to consultancy firm EY, in 2024, Indians spent 4.9 hours per day on phone apps, a 3.1% increase from 2023. Overall, India spent over 110,000 crore hours on digital platforms, the highest globally.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Singapore and UAE Lead in Internet Speed</h2>



<p>Small countries continue to lead the world in providing high-speed internet. The UAE boasts the world&#8217;s fastest mobile internet speed at 539 Mbps, while Singapore leads in fixed internet speed with 372 Mbps.</p>

<p><strong>BHU UG Admission 2025:</strong> The admission process for undergraduate (UG) courses at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has begun. Admission to BA, BCom, BSc, and other UG courses will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) scores. Interested candidates can apply online through BHU&#8217;s official website, <a href="bhu.ac.in">bhu.ac.in</a> or <a href="bhucuet.samarth.edu.in">bhucuet.samarth.edu.in</a>, until 11:59 PM on 31 July 2025. The application process will close after the deadline.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BHU UG Admission 2025: Who Can Apply?</h2>



<p>All candidates who have successfully appeared for the CUET UG 2025 exam are eligible to apply for admission to BHU. Over 1.3 million candidates will have the opportunity to participate in this process. The application window will remain open for 15 days, during which students from across the country can apply. The application fee is ₹500 for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category candidates and ₹250 for SC/ST/PWD category candidates.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BHU: A Total of 415 Courses and 1553 Subject Groups</h2>



<p>This year, BHU&#8217;s UG courses will offer admissions across 415 courses and 1553 subject groups. To streamline and enhance the transparency of the admission process, the university has implemented the CAP UG 2025 (Combined Allotment Programme). According to the admission coordinator, Prof. Bhaskar Bhattacharya, Bachelor of Arts (BA) alone offers over 282 subject groups, while admissions are also available for courses like BSc, BCom, BFA, BPA, and Agriculture. Including the main campus, the South Campus, the Women&#8217;s College, and affiliated colleges, the total number of courses offered amounts to 1553.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BHU Admission: Over 5000 PG Seats Filled in the First Phase</h2>



<p>The first phase of seat allocation for postgraduate (PG) courses is complete. Over 5000 candidates have locked their seats in this phase. Approximately 2500 PG seats remain, for which the second phase will commence on 18 July.</p>

<p>The atmosphere in Rajasthan&#8217;s colleges and universities is heating up with admissions and student union elections. Uncertainty remains about whether elections will be held this time. However, colleges and universities are collecting student union election fees during admissions. Students in Rajasthan&#8217;s 665 government colleges and 13 state universities are being charged student union election fees again this year. If the government doesn&#8217;t make a decision regarding the elections, then, like the previous two sessions, the election fee will be collected but will not be refunded.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Collection of ₹50 to ₹100</h2>



<p>In Rajasthan University and other state universities and colleges, students are charged ₹50 to ₹100 during admission. Based on this, crores of rupees are being collected across Rajasthan in the name of student union elections. This fee is for one session. Similar collections were made in the previous two sessions, but the fee was not returned even though the elections did not take place.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Development Committee Makes Decisions</h2>



<p>In colleges and universities, the Development Committee determines all types of institutional fees. This includes student union elections, parking, library, and other fees. The committee meeting is held in advance, and decisions are made.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Budget Used for Election Expenses and Other Items</h2>



<p>Student leader Shubham Rewar says that the university uses this fee to cover expenses incurred in student union elections. However, if elections do not take place, it is used for other purposes. In Rajasthan University, more than 25,000 students are studying, and a fee of ₹100 was collected from them.</p>

<p>The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, met on Wednesday and approved the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanay Krishi Yojana, as announced in the 2025-26 budget.</p>



<p>The scheme primarily aims to enhance agricultural productivity, promote crop diversification, and encourage sustainable agricultural practices. Further objectives include increasing post-harvest storage capacity, improving irrigation facilities, and facilitating better credit availability.</p>



<p>Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, speaking after the weekly Cabinet meeting, stated that the programme will benefit 1.7 crore farmers. With a commencement date of 2025-26, an annual financial outlay of ₹24,000 crore is earmarked for at least six years.</p>



<p>Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had proposed on February 1st that the government, in partnership with states, would launch the ‘Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanay Krishi Yojana’. This scheme will be implemented in collaboration with 36 existing schemes across 11 departments, other state schemes, and the private sector.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Selection of 100 Districts</h2>



<p>One hundred districts will be identified based on three key indicators: low productivity, low cropping intensity, and low credit disbursement. At least one district will be selected from each state.</p>



<p>District, state, and national-level committees will be formed to monitor the scheme. The District Dhan Dhanaya Committee, which will include farmer members, will finalise the scheme at the district level.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Monitoring the Scheme</h2>



<p>In each Dhan Dhanaya district, the scheme&#8217;s progress will be monitored monthly via a dashboard tracking 177 key performance indicators (KPIs). NITI Aayog will also review and provide guidance on district plans. Furthermore, a designated central nodal officer for each district will regularly review the scheme&#8217;s implementation.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Increased Production Expected</h2>



<p>The scheme is expected to boost crop production, add value to the agriculture and allied sectors, generate local livelihoods, and thus achieve self-reliance. As indicators improve in these 100 districts, national indicators are also projected to rise.</p>

<p><strong>BTEUP Result 2025:</strong> The Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Council (BTEUP) has declared the results for the Even Semester and Special Back Paper examinations held in May-June 2025. These results are available online on the council&#8217;s official website, bteup.ac.in. Students enrolled in diploma courses will need to enter their Enrollment Number to view their results. To view the results, students must visit the official portal and click on the relevant link. <p>First, open the official website of the Technical Education Council, www.bteup.ac.in.<br>On the website&#8217;s homepage, go to the ‘Re-evaluation’ section.<br>Fill in all the necessary information such as enrollment number, subject, etc., in the application form.<br>Pay the prescribed fee through online means.</p>



<p>After submitting the form, keep the receipt or screenshot safe.<br>The re-evaluation result will also be published on the council&#8217;s website within the stipulated time. Students are advised to regularly visit the website.</p>

<p>BTEUP Secretary Ajit Kumar Mishra informed that the results of a total of 220 students have been withheld due to allegations of using unfair means in the examination, as per the decision of the examination committee. In addition, 2533 students who wrote mobile numbers in their answer sheets during the examination have been awarded zero marks in the respective subject.</p>
