<p>सावन मास के पहले सोमवार को शहर के सभी शिवालयों में श्रद्धालुओं का सुबह से जमावड़ा लगा रहा। वहीं क्षेत्र में सुबह से ही रिमझिम बारिश का दौर चलता रहा मानो ऐसा लग रहा था कि इन्द्रदेव बारिश की फुहारों से आशुतोष का अभिषेक कर रहे होँ। महिलाओं व पुरुषो ने मंदिरों में पहुंच कर भगवान शिव का जलाभिषेक कर पूजन किया। शहर के मंदिरों में हर हर महादेव,बम बम भोले का नाद सुनाई दिया।  मंदिरों के बाहर फूल, भाँग, धतुरा, विल्व पत्र आदि की दुकानें लग गई।   महिलाओं ने बताया की सावन मास में प्रत्येक सोमवार को व्रत भी रखा जा रहा है।</p>

<p>Life in Rajasthan has been disrupted due to heavy rainfall. The Chief Minister has had to personally monitor the situation. School closures have begun due to waterlogging caused by the rain. Today, 15th July, private and government schools in Pali and Kota cities are closed. A red alert for heavy rain remains in effect for these cities. If heavy rain continues, closures may extend to tomorrow. It is expected that rainfall will reduce from 17th July, continuing at a lower intensity for the following days. The system, active for two days, has caused widespread flooding in southern and eastern Rajasthan. Heavy rain has inundated roads in several districts, leading to waterlogging in low-lying areas and disruption of traffic.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall Forecast for Today and Tomorrow</h2>



<p>The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall for several districts over the next 48 hours. Torrential rain is particularly expected in parts of Kota, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Jaipur divisions. There is a risk of extremely heavy rainfall in some areas, potentially leading to flood-like situations. State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams have been deployed across the state for relief and rescue operations. These teams have already saved numerous lives in recent days. According to the IMD, a new monsoon system has become fully active in the last 24 hours and is moving towards western Rajasthan. Although rainfall activity is expected to decrease slightly from 17th July, the administration has been instructed to remain fully vigilant until then.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rain Wreaks Havoc in Pali; Schools Closed</h2>



<p>Pali city in Rajasthan has experienced intense rainfall in the last 24 hours. Some areas received up to ten inches of rain, while the city&#8217;s average rainfall was recorded at eight inches. Between 8 am and 5 pm, rainfall was recorded as follows: Rot (27 mm), Bali (38 mm), Sojat (52 mm), Sumerpur (13 mm), Rani (31 mm), Desuri (11 mm), and Marwar Junction (27 mm). A heavy to very heavy rainfall alert remains in effect for the city.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Public Holiday Declared for All Schools in Kota District</h2>



<p>Considering the heavy rainfall and waterlogging in Kota district, District Collector Piyush Samariya, exercising the powers conferred under the Kota Disaster Management Act, 2005, has declared a public holiday for all government and private schools in Kota district on 15th July for students only. Teaching and non-teaching staff are expected to report for duty as usual.</p>

<p><strong>World&#8217;s Oldest Marathon Runner Fauja Singh Dies:</strong> Fauja Singh, the world&#8217;s oldest marathon runner, died on Monday in a road accident. He was 114 years old. He was out for a walk near his village, Byaas Pind, in Jalandhar, near the Pathankot-Jalandhar National Highway, when a speeding car hit him while he was crossing the road. Some young men took him to the hospital, where he died during treatment in the evening. Fauja Singh was known as the ‘Turbaned Tornado’. His death has caused a wave of mourning in the sports world.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Completed his first marathon at the age of 90</h2>



<p>After the death of his wife, Gian Kaur, in 1992, Fauja Singh moved to England and settled in East London with his son, Kuldeep. In 1994, to overcome the grief of his son&#8217;s death, he started running and became the oldest marathon runner. Fauja Singh completed his first marathon at the age of 90. In 2004, at the age of 93, he completed the London Marathon. In 2011, at the age of 100, he completed the Toronto Marathon and set a record in the 100-plus category.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Symbol of perseverance: Kataria</h2>



<p>Punjab Governor, Gulab Chand Kataria, expressed his grief over his death. He wrote on X, &#8220;I am deeply saddened by the passing of the great marathon runner and symbol of perseverance, Sardar Fauja Singh Ji. At the age of 114, he joined me with unique enthusiasm in the &#8216;Nasha Mukt – Rangla Punjab&#8217; march. His legacy will remain an inspiration for a drug-free Punjab.&#8221;</p>

He had the opportunity to finish the match by playing big shots in the final overs, but the veteran all-rounder couldn&#8217;t capitalise, and the Indian team lost.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">59 balls played with Siraj</h2>



<p>Jadeja played 59 balls in partnership with Mohammed Siraj. During this time, Jadeja hit only two boundaries and mostly focused on singles and doubles. Giving more balls to a tailender like Siraj could have resulted in a quick wicket. Jadeja should have shown the same aggression as his 2018 Oval innings (86*). This defeat puts India 1-2 down in the series. Now, India will aim for a win in the Manchester Test to level the series.</p>

<p>Karnataka Police rescued a Russian woman and her two children from a cave in the Gokarna area two days ago. The Russian woman&#8217;s statement during questioning surprised the Karnataka Police. She revealed that she had been living in a natural cave in the Ramteerth hills for the past 14 days. Influenced by Hinduism and spirituality, she first travelled to Goa and then to Gokarna.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Russian Woman Found in Cave with Two Children</h2>



<p>The Russian woman was identified as Nina Kutina. Nina told the police that she is deeply attached to forests and enjoys meditating in them. She also expressed sadness about leaving India and returning to her country. Police stated that her visa expired in 2017. In accordance with regulations, the process of sending Nina and her daughters back to Russia has begun. They will be taken to Bengaluru on Sunday. Nina was found in a cave in the Ramteerth hills of Kumta taluka with her two daughters.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Woman in Hiding Since 2018</h2>



<p>Police officer Shridhar SR, speaking to The Indian Express, said that Nina first came to India in 2016 on a one-year business visa. She was impressed by the tourism and restaurant businesses in Goa and Gokarna, but instead of returning to Russia after her visa expired on 17 April 2017, she decided to remain in India. In 2018, she obtained an exit permit and went to Nepal for a while, but soon returned to India and went into hiding in the coastal forests of Karnataka.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Avoided Hotels</h2>



<p>He said that Nina avoided staying in hotels to avoid being caught. She chose to hide in the forests to protect herself from the police. Shridhar said that while his police team was patrolling the Ramteerth hills, they noticed footprints. This led them to the cave where Nina&#8217;s daughter was playing, while Nina was asleep with her other daughter. Some Russian books were also found in the cave. The police said the woman had been living there with her two daughters for two months and had been living in hiding for about eight years.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Persuaded Her to Leave</h2>



<p>Shridhar said the police persuaded Nina to leave, highlighting the risk of landslides and the presence of snakes. Nina responded that snakes are her friends and won&#8217;t harm her unless provoked. She also mentioned that snakes would often be around her without aggression when she bathed in nearby waterfalls.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Responsible for Own Expenses</h2>



<p>It is understood that illegal immigrants are responsible for arranging their own travel funds for repatriation. Therefore, Nina will have to bear her own expenses. Neither the Indian government nor the Russian government provides financial assistance for this. Nina will now have to stay in detention centres designated for deportees. He said that most governments ask illegal immigrants to arrange their own airfare.</p>

<p><strong>Mohammed Siraj Fined:</strong> Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been fined for a clash with Ben Duckett after dismissing him on Day 4 at Lord&#8217;s. He was found guilty of breaching the ICC Code of Conduct and has been penalised with a fine and demerit points. The incident occurred during England&#8217;s second innings of the India vs England third Test match when Siraj dismissed the England opener. Siraj celebrated in front of Duckett, leading to a collision between the two players.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Siraj Sanctioned for Shoulder Collision</h2>



<p>An ICC statement said that Mohammed Siraj was found guilty of breaching Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct and has been fined 15% of his match fee. He has also been awarded one demerit point, his second in a 24-month period. Article 2.5 relates to using offensive language, behaviour or gestures after a batsman is dismissed in an international match, or provoking an aggressive response from the batsman.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Happened Between Siraj and Duckett?</h2>



<p>The incident happened on the last ball of the sixth over of England&#8217;s second innings. Duckett was caught by Bumrah at mid-on off Siraj&#8217;s bowling. While celebrating the wicket enthusiastically, Siraj made shoulder contact with Duckett. However, replays showed that Duckett had moved towards Siraj, resulting in the contact.</p>

<p>The dream of a bullet train in Rajasthan could become a reality in the next few years. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Delhi-Ahmedabad bullet train project has been prepared. Now, approval from the central government is awaited. The Delhi-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor will pass through seven districts of Rajasthan. Once the bullet train between Delhi and Ahmedabad is operational, the journey between the two cities will be reduced from 14 hours to just 3-4 hours. The Delhi-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor will be 875 kilometres long.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bullet Train to Boost Rajasthan Tourism</h2>

<p>The Delhi-Ahmedabad bullet train will connect all major tourist cities. This will give a significant boost to Rajasthan&#8217;s tourism sector. Of the 875-kilometre-long train route, 657 kilometres will be in Rajasthan. The train will pass through seven districts of Rajasthan: Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, and Dungarpur. According to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited, there is a plan to build a total of 11 stations on this route between Delhi and Ahmedabad, of which 9 will be in Rajasthan. These include Jaipur, Ajmer, Behror, Shahjahanpur, Vijayanagar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, and Kherwara.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Train to Run at 350 Kilometres per Hour</h2>



<p>Both the general public and tourists eagerly await this train, as its launch will allow tourists arriving from Delhi or Gujarat to reach their destinations much faster. It is reported that the train will run at a speed of 350 kilometres per hour. The Delhi-Ahmedabad train route will pass through numerous tunnels, bridges, and hilly areas. It will also cross five major rivers in the country.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bullet Train to Pass Through 335 Villages in Rajasthan</h2>

<p>Starting from Dwarka Sector 21 in Delhi, the Delhi-Ahmedabad high-speed rail line will pass through 335 villages across seven districts of Rajasthan, offering passengers a glimpse into the state&#8217;s rich heritage. The train will connect major cities like Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Chittorgarh, which are popular travel destinations. It is believed that the launch of this train will also boost the regional economy.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Jodhpur Not Included in Bullet Train Corridor</h2>



<p>According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, a comprehensive Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been prepared for the Delhi-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor. Jodhpur, a city renowned for its tourism, had long awaited high-speed rail connectivity, but it has not been included in the Ahmedabad-Delhi bullet train corridor. A high-speed test track is being prepared in the Jodhpur railway division, where bullet train trials will be conducted in the future.</p>

<p>Trials for India&#8217;s first bullet train will take place in Rajasthan. A 60-kilometre-long dedicated rail trial track, the first of its kind in the country, is being built between Gudha Salt and Thathana Mithdi under the supervision of the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited. The unique feature of this track is that it will allow trials of high-speed trains (up to 200 km/h), regular passenger trains, and freight trains. Until now, India lacked a dedicated trial track. Therefore, trials of new coaches, engines, or freight wagons were conducted on regular operational tracks, often affecting normal traffic. This track is nearing completion.</p>

<p><strong>Entertainment News:</strong> Sad news has emerged from the entertainment world. Renowned stuntman S.M. Raju passed away at the age of 52. He was shooting for director Pa. Ranjith’s upcoming film ‘Vettuvam’ when the accident occurred during a dangerous stunt (a car-toppling scene). Actor Arya plays the lead role in this film.</p>



<p>Tamil actor Vishal shared this sad news on social media. He wrote that it is very difficult to believe that Raju is no longer with us. He passed away this morning while performing a stunt sequence.</p>



<p>Vishal mentioned that he had known Raju for many years and that Raju had performed extremely dangerous stunts in several of his films. This incident is a major shock to the entire industry.</p>

<p>A video is going viral on social media, which is from a few minutes before the tragic incident. In the video, the late Raju can be seen driving a car at high speed; during this, the car overturns, after which crew members rush to the car and pull Raju out.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Declared Dead by Doctors</h2>



<p>According to reports, stuntman S.M. Raju experienced severe chest pain during the shoot. He was immediately taken to the Government Medical College Hospital in Nagapattinam, but doctors there declared him dead.</p>



<p>Famous stunt choreographer Silva paid tribute to Raju on Instagram. He wrote, “Our brilliant car stunt artist S.M. Raju left the world today during a scene. May God grant his soul peace. He will always be remembered by our stunt union and the entire film industry.”</p>



<p>Actor Arya and director Pa. Ranjith of the film ‘Vettuvam’ have not yet issued any statement on this incident.</p>

<p>MP News: A major incident has been reported from the Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh. A family enjoying a picnic near the Kolar river, close to Surae, has been caught in a tragic accident. On Sunday, the parents and their two children were picnicking when a sudden flash flood swept them into the river. One child was rescued, but the search for the remaining family members is underway. The family is from Semri village in Sehore district.</p>



<p>According to initial reports, Ata Khan, a resident of Semri village in the Rehti police station area of Sehore district, went for a picnic with his wife and two children on Sunday. Suddenly, the river water level rose rapidly, and the children began to drown. In an attempt to save them, Ata Khan and his wife also entered the river. Due to the strong current, all four were swept away. One child was rescued by bystanders.</p>

<p>Other people present at the scene immediately informed the police. A police team, along with divers, arrived at the scene and began searching for the missing family members. At the time of writing, the parents and one child remain missing.</p>
